Maria has invested her loan money into her very successful nail salon. Due to the success of her salon, Maria recently opened a “Pica Pollo” a small restaurant outside of her salon.

Francisca owns a small store where she sells various different types of food items located in the capital of the Dominican Republic. Your donation of $25 provided Margarita with her very first Pap exam. It is recommended that women receive this exam every year; however, this is not always the case.  Margarita is 55 years old, and because of the lack of resources and knowledge, has never received this fundamental exam. Margo, your seemingly small donation has changed Margaritas life dramatically.

She can now be informed of any health problem she may have in hopes of stopping it before it advances. Preventative care is extremely important and can possibly prevent cervical cancer before it becomes life threatening.
