Mercedes is an extremely bubbly and motivated associate of Esperanza who makes her home in Samaná here in the Dominican Republic. Mercedes provides for her family by selling coconuts and various types of fruit in her community. She was able to begin her business thanks to the capital she aquired through Esperanza. Thanks to your invaluable donation Kanwar, Mercedes was able to receive a cavity prevention program!
Mercedes now is informed on why it is important to brush her teeth in the morning and before bed. Not only did you provide Mercedes with this essential information, but you also gave her a healthier smile! Gasilda is an associate of Esperanza’s who makes her home in Samaná here in the Dominican Republic. Gasilda is 43 years old, and invested her loan money into her business of a “Pica Pollo” restaurant in her community. Thanks to your donation Wat, Gasilda was able to obtain an essential cavity prevention program.
Gasilda not only received a fluoride treatment, but also the knowledge on how to keep her teeth healthy in the future. Thank you for your generous donation Wat, your donation gave Gasilda the priceless gift of improved health, and for this she is eternally grateful!

Barthelus Looks to a Brighter Tomorrow!

Barthelus is enrolled in a literacy course thanks to your donation. Barthelus is 20 years old and moved to the Dominican Republic after the devastating earthquake in Haiti.
Barthelus is now learning how to speak and understand Spanish, something that will undoubtedly make her life easier here in the Dominican Republic. Once she learns Spanish she can continue her education in accounting, something she was in the process of doing when the earthquake occurred. Thanks to your donation, Barthelus can now move on with her life, and can begin building a more promising tomorrow.

Magdalena was able to receive a women’s health exam thanks to your valuable donation. Magdalena is a 28 year old mother of 6, and sells clothing and food in her community located in the capital of the Dominican Republic.

Thanks to your gracious donations, Nacaurdi and Gina were able to receive dental cleanings! Not only do they have improved dental hygiene, but they now understand the importance of taking care of their teeth. They learned that it is important to brush more than once a day and without doing so their teeth are vulnerable to infection.
Thank you so much Cherry, Nacaurdi and Gina can now smile strong! Nicaurdi hopes to one day become a teacher, and Gina plans on studying medicine. Thanks to your donation Cherry, both can stay focused on their goals without having to worry about cavities!
