She has always dreamed of receiving an education, and thanks to Milan’s school and your donation, this dream has become a reality! Regina loves learning about Spanish literature and takes pleasure in the fact that she now has access to a library that gives her the resources to maintain this hobby.

Regina’s school Tu Hogar Christiano has an ever growing library. Melodia sells various food products in her community of Santo Domingo Norte located here in the Dominican Republic. Melodia has had various health problems in the past and she has difficulty finding healthcare.

Thanks to your donation Peter and Kim, Melodia was able to make sure she is cervical cancer free. Pap exams are one of the essential medical tests for women and your donation allowed Melodia to take advantage of this service through Esperanza. Because of your donation, Lolin Jr. is now learning the Spanish language! Lolin is 29 years old and is finally feeling comfortable in his new home of the Dominican Republic. Lolin left his home country of Haiti after the devastating earthquake, and now lives in Santo Domingo with his cousin. Lolin came to this country in search of a better life with brighter opportunities, and now thanks to your donation Sarah, he is beginning to build a foundation with more possibilities.

Lolin is learning Spanish at la Iglesia De La Trinidad so he can continue his studies at the university. Lolin hopes to one day study medicine, and after mastering the Spanish language he will be able to do so.

Thanks to your donation, Christopher now knows how to properly brush his teeth. Christopher lives in Santo Domingo, the capital of the Dominican Republic. His mother sells empanadas in her community, and uses her profits to support her family.
