Thanks to your donation, Ronnie can show off his great smile and clean teeth! Ronnie is 24 years old, and participated in the cavity prevention program because you were kind enough to donate. After seeing the dentist, Ronnie learned that he had a cavity. He now knows how to make sure this never happens again and that he can keep his teeth healthy and strong.

Her mother is an associate of Esperanza and sells clothes in her small community of Villa Clara. Ricardo resides in Villa Clara, a small community of Samaná, located in the Dominican Republic. Ricardo is 14 years old, and his grandmother is an associate of Esperanza. This is the first time that Ricardo has ever seen a dentist, and thanks to your donation, he was able to participate in the cavity prevention program.

Not only does Ricardo have healthier teeth, but now he has the knowledge to prevent his teeth from decay in the future. Ricardo states that he never knew it was necessary to floss until you provided him with this essential service. Ricardo is extremely happy, and now knows the importance to maintaining his dental hygiene.

Martina is 21 years old and resides in Samaná, in the Dominican Republic. After taking out a small loan with Esperanza 4 years ago, Martina began selling clothes from her home. She uses the profits of her business to pay her tuition at the University where she studies tourism. Martina is pregnant, and says she finally feels confident that she can sufficiently provide for her child.

Thanks to your donation Mark, Martina was able to take advantage of one of the services that Esperanza provides and receive a dental cleaning. Your gracious donation has provided Lourdine with Spanish classes that improved her life more than you know! Lourdine moved from Haiti to the Dominican Republic after the horrific earthquake which affected millions. One of the many casualties was the complete collapse of the country’s education system.

Thanks to your donation Rhett, Lourdine is able to continue her education and get a fresh start in this new country. After she masters the Spanish language, she would like to take computer courses, a topic she is very interested in learning. Costan is 14 years old and can continue to receive education thanks to your caring donation. Costan and his family emigrated from Haiti 5 months ago after the devastating earthquake shattered their world. Costan is taking classes here at la Iglesia De La Trinidad without his parents because it is necessary that they work in order to support their family.

Costan loves learning the Spanish language and shared that it would not be the same without his dedicated professor Julio. He hopes to one day study medicine, and expresses that he understands that life can be hard without an education. Lugaine can now understand Spanish!
Dear Leslie,

Lugaine has been enrolled in Spanish classes for 4 months, and can now continue to take her classes thanks to your donation. After the horrific earthquake in Haiti, Lugaine and her sister left Port-au-Prince in search of a better life, and found it here in the Dominican Republic. Thanks to your donation, Leslie, she can carry on her education and learn how to function in a Spanish speaking country.

Prior to enrolling in this class, Lugaine couldn’t speak to people, let alone understand them. Now, little by litte, Lugaine is learning how to express herself in Spanish. After mastering the Spanish language she hopes to study accounting at the local university in Santo Domingo. Thank you so much Leslie, your kindness has provided Lugaine with the confidence to build a more promising tomorrow.
