Carla is a beautiful and brilliant 12 year old who can now smile a little bit brighter thanks to your kind donation of a cavity prevention program.  Before you gave her this gift Gillian, Carla never knew about cavities and other dental diseases and the importance of brushing. She not only received a fluoride treatment, but also a lesson on proper dental hygiene, and promises to put this newly acquired knowledge into practice.

Carmen is a small business owner who lives in Los Casaves, which is located in Santo Domingo here in the Dominican Republic. Carmen had always dreamed of starting her own business, but unfortunately was unable to access the enough capital. Thanks to Esperanza, she was able to acquire the capital for her business and thanks to you, Carmen received a vital health exam.

Carmen used her microloan to invest in her small business and now because of the commitment she made to Esperanza and because of your gift Alden, she was given the opportunity to receive an imperative exam and learn about her future health. Santa Alena is from a small community in Puerto Plata called El Puerto and is an associate of Esperanza. Santa took out a loan in order to start her own small business. She now sells bread and ice cream in her community, which has blessed her with the opportunity to have the financial stability to confidently support her family.

Yunilici is a 45 year old mother of 4 who makes her home in Samaná in the Dominican Republic. Yunilici can now pass this knowledge on to her children, and will help them in preventing dental problems in the future.
