Luisa is a 42 year old associate of Esperanza who lives in the capital city of the Dominican Republic. Luisa has used a micro-loan with Esperanza to start her own business selling beauty products. Luisa is a mother of four, and thanks to your donation she now has the knowledge that she is cervical cancer free!

Your donation provided Luisa with the opportunity to have a pap exam for the very first time in her life. This beautiful little girl will be smiling brighter thanks to your gracious donation. Elliannie is 4 years old and traveled with her mother almost 2 hours to get here today. Elliannie not only received a dental cleaning, but also learned how to properly brush her teeth as well as how to keep them healthy and strong for the future. Meita is learning Spanish thanks to your donation! Meita is from Port- au- Principe, Haiti and has lived here in the Dominican Republic for two years now. Your donation has made it possible for Meita to begin learning the Spanish language so she can begin to feel more assimilated here in the Dominican Republican. Meita has dreams of studying medicine, but cannot do so until she learns the language spoken in her new home. Thanks to your donation, Meita is now learning Spanish at the church Iglesia Biblica de la Trinidad.

The curriculum consists of basic social skills such as greetings and expressions, how to interact in different social situations, how to ask questions, how to conjugate verbs, and basic tools on how to create a life in a Spanish speaking country.
