Thanks to your donation, Sofia is now hopeful for a brighter future. Sofia is 25 years old and left Haiti after the devastating earthquake 7 months ago with her husband. She has been enrolled in this Spanish course for 3 months, which allows her to better integrate into society.
Thanks to your donation, Leslie, Sofia can now begin to move forward. She is now learning the language that will allow her to continue her studies. Angela is another student of Iglesia Biblicia De La Trinidad who is now taking Spanish classes thanks to your donation. Angela is 18 years old and can now begin looking forward to new opportunities here in the Dominican Republic. Angela left Haiti after the earthquake 8 months ago, and is now living with her aunt in Santo Domingo.
Leslie, your donation has provided Angela with essential Spanish classes that will allow her to learn the language so she can begin studying again. Angela hopes to one day study medicine at the university, and understands how important it is that she studies Spanish so she can begin to pursue her dreams. Your gift has impacted the life of Yobelky more than you know. Your $25 donation provided Leanor with the beautiful gift of maintaining her health. Leanor is 47 years old and has taken out 5 loans with Esperanza. She has a small store in her community called a “colmado,” where she sells various food items such as fruit, rice, meat and milk. The last Pap exam that Leanor took was last year, and because of your donation Ray and Lael, she is able to receive another routine exam.

It has been 8 months since Elizabeth received her last Pap exam with Esperanza, which means she is due to have one in 4 months. This can now become possible because of your thoughtful donation. Elizabeth is a mother of two, and it is vital that she take the exam to check for abnormalities and to stay healthy for her children.

Leocaudia Diaz sells various clothing items and beauty products from her home in Santo Domingo, which is located in the Dominican Republic. Leocaudia claims that none of this would have been possible without the encouragement and support of Esperanza. She was able to start and maintain her business, supports her family, and is now able to take advantage of one of the vital complementary services the Esperanza provides, the Pap exam.
Bill and Colleen, your donation made this possible for Leocaudia, and she is forever grateful. She took the exam at a local clinic where there is a doctor supported by Esperanza who is able to administer the exam.
