Sylvia is 38 years old, and has just received a dental cleaning because your donation has permitted her to do so. Slyvia claims that at first she was afraid to be seen by the dentist, but after doing so is so happy that she did.
She now understands the importance of keeping her teeth clean, so that she does not suffer from cavities in the future. Sylvia can now pass this information on to her children, and her children’s children, and because of this she is extremely grateful. Rolan has just received a cavity prevention program thanks to your selfless donation, and now smiles brighter. Rolan is 12 years old, and lives with his family in Samaná, which is located here in beautiful Dominican Republic. His favorite subjects are math and science, and he hopes to study agriculture when he is old enough to do so.

Nelson was able to receive a dental cleaning thanks to your thoughtful donation. Nelson is 48 years old and lives in El Limon which is a community of Samaná located in beautiful Dominican Republic. Nelson’s wife is an associate of Esperanza, and is so grateful to have access to the complementary services that Esperanza provides. Not only is Nelson and his family able to assure that their dental health is where it should be, but his wife also takes advantage of the Pap exams that Esperanza offers.

Lucia lives in the Dominican Republic and used a micro loan to sell food in her small community. Because the town in which she lives thrives off of the sugar harvesting industry, Lucia sells her food mostly to the men that work in the sugar cane fields.
Lucia uses the money she makes off of selling food to support her two children that she loves dearly. Thanks to your donation Thomas, Lucia is able to receive a Pap exam for the first time!
She feels blessed with the opportunity to check for cervical cancer, in hopes of preventing it before it begins! Anairis is a beautiful and bright 10 year old girl who lives in a town called Samaná in the Dominican Republic. Ruth is 22 years old and lives with her mother in Santo Domingo Norte, which is locatedĀ in the Dominican Republic. For most of her life, Ruth lived in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, but after the devastating earthquake her life has changed tremendously.
Ruth and her mother chose to come to the Dominican Republic in search of a better life two months ago. Ruth claims that the literacy course has been a blessing, and she is now learning the Spanish language. Ruth is happy to finally be able to express herself and greet the wonderful new people she is meeting.
