Milagro is no longer at risk!

Pap impact I 021
Dear Tony,

Thanks to your $25 donation Anthony, Milagro was able to receive a Pap exam for the very first time. Milagro lives and works in a rural community which is supported by the sugar harvesting industry called a Batey.

Your donation made it possible for a Doctor to come to Milagro’s community and provide her with this essential exam. She now understands that Pap exams test for cervical cancer, tumors, inflammation, things that aren’t necessarily self diagnosable.

Because of this knowledge you allowed Milagro to receive Anthony, she will begin to take the exam every year, which is the recommended time a woman should have the exam. She wants to be healthy for her children, and is so grateful for you allowing her to do so. Your small donation has made a big difference in the life of Milagro and her children. Because of this, she is eternally grateful. Thank you Anthony!

Dear Tony,

Cirta is a young mother of 7 who makes her home in the rural community of La Romana. The small community she calls home is supported by the sugar harvesting industry, which employs many Haitians and Dominicans.

Until Esperanza presented her with the opportunity of a Pap exam, Cirta had never imagined or even heard of such an exam.

Because of your donation Anthony, Cirta had the opportunity to have this essential exam. He lives with his mother and step father in San Pedro, and they are both overjoyed that he has been blessed with the opportunity to receive an education.

What Franklin enjoys most about school is spending time in the ever growing library where he gets to explore the different books that have been donated to the school. Franklin loves to read, and feels blessed that unlike many of the children in his community, he is able to do so. Thank you Scott, your gracious donation has allowed Franklin to continue feeding his passion for learning!
