As I chat with Deaulene outside of the church la Iglesia Biblica de la Trinidad, she graces me with her bright and vibrant smile. Deaulene is of Haitian decent and has been living in the Dominican Republic for one year now. She is now enrolled in Spanish classes here at the church in order to feel more comfortable in her new home. Deaulene is now learning Spanish in order to continue studying Medicine, something she was previously doing in Haiti. Thanks to your donation, Deaulene is now able to continue studying for a brighter future. She can now begin to communicate with her neighbors, and says thank you for supporting her to do so!

Everyday, Mileia arrives to her school here in San Pedro with an appetite for learning. Mileia is enrolled in the kindergarten class at Tu Hogar Cristiano, and loves that she not only is receiving an education but that she has the opportunity to socialize with her friends. Thanks to your donation, she is able to continue doing so! She will now understand the importance of receiving an education, and will continue to grow and develop into an educated and contributing member of her society.

Ronald is enrolled in the kindergarten class at Tu Hogar Cristiano in the town of San Pedro here in the Dominican Republic. Ronald is learning new things every day, and thanks to your efforts will continue to do so. Ronald not only has access to education but can take advantage of services such as the library, counseling programs and nutrition services.

Zacareas makes his home in a small community of Samaná called Los Corrales where he lives with his daughter and two grandchildren. Today he was able to receive a fluoride treatment and dental cleaning thanks to donors like you, Jeffrey! Zacareas works in the local church here in Los Corrales, and feels extremely blessed to have been given the opportunity to improve his dental hygiene.

Riza and countless others were able to receive a cavity prevention program thanks to selfless donors like yourself Howard! Riza is 14 years old and was able to receive one of the essential complementary services that Esperanza offers to their associates and their family members: a cavity prevention program.
Riza not only had her teeth examined and cleaned today, but she also was informed on proper dental hygiene techniques in order to keep her mouth healthy in the future. Thank you, Howard; your donation provided Riza with an opportunity to keep her teeth healthy and strong!

Your gift of a literacy program made it feasible for Julio to continue taking part in this program. Julio is the professor of this class, and is able to continue teaching thanks to your donation. Julio states that this class provides hope and opportunity to all of its participants, and for this he is eternally grateful.
Julio is also of Haitian decent, and teaches his students basic sentence structure, grammar, social skills, greetings, basic Spanish in order to acclimate to living here in the Dominican Republic. Thanks to your gracious donation Laurent, Julio is able to continue doing this.

Felicia is an associate of Esperanza who is able to support her 3 children thanks to the microloan she took out with Esperanza. Felicia sells clothing in her community of Samaná, and was able to receive a cavity prevention program thanks to donors like you.
Because she chose to take out a loan with Esperanza, she is not only provided with the access to capital, but also with the access to the vital complementary services that Esperanza provides, and a cavity prevention program is one of these essential services.

Belky makes her home in a small community called Aguabuena located in the Samaná region of the Dominican Republic. Belky took out a loan with Esperanza in order to have the means to provide for herself independently. Belky now has a small business selling seafood, a lucrative business here in Samaná.
Thanks to your gracious gift of $15 Pamela, Belky received a cavity prevention program. This includes a fluoride treatment, as well as the knowledge and tools in order to keep her dental hygiene where it should be in the future. Maria now knows she's healthy!
Dear Laurent,
Maria received her first woman’s health exam thanks to your donation! Maria is 30 years old and a mother of three young children. She is an associate of Esperanza, and used her micro-loan to invest in her small business of selling pants and shoes in her community of Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic. Maria sells her merchandise from her home in which she shares with her three children and her brother.
Laurent, your donation made it possible for Maria to receive her very first pap exam and also provided her with the knowledge behind why the exam is so important.
