Carmen now has Pap exams every year!

Thanks to the donation made by Anne, Josh, Josiah and Isaiah, Carmen was able to receive her very first Pap exam! Once she was informed of the importance of detecting cervical cancer before it begins, she promised to repeat the exam every year.

Carmen used the micro loan she took out with Esperanza to sell food in her small community of La Romana, Dominican Republic. She uses the money that she makes to support herself and her 2 children. Carmen wants to continue health screenings to assure she stays healthy for the sake of her children. Thanks to your donation, Carmen is now sure that she can do this.
