Teresa is from La Romana, a small town in the Dominican Republic. The rural community thrives off of the sugar harvesting industry, and the living conditions can be extremely difficult. The community is faced with unreliable electricity and running water; none of which is potable, and very there are little means of transportation.

Teresa just recently received her very first Pap exam thanks to your donation, Rob. Before the doctor came to her community, Teresa was unaware of the potential illnesses she could have, even though she physically felt fine. She now understands the necessary precautions she must take to ensure she is healthy and strong.
