Elysée is 25 years old and originally from Port-au-Prince, Haiti. He immigrated to the Dominican Republic seven months ago after the devastating earthquake. Sadly, he lost his mother in the earthquake, and chose to relocate to the Dominican Republic with his grandmother in search of a better life. Elysée states with a smile that he feels so blessed to live in a country with such warm and inviting people.
He has been enrolled in the literacy course at Iglesia Biblica de la Trinidad for four months now, and is so grateful to have the opportunity to continue in his studies. Mark and Lisbet, thanks to your selfless donation Elysée is able to wake up to a more educated tomorrow! He wants to learn Spanish so he can continue studying medicine, and your donation has made this possible. Mark and Lisbet, you have sincerely impacted the life of Elysée!
Thank you!
