Meita is learning Spanish thanks to your donation! Meita is from Port- au- Principe, Haiti and has lived here in the Dominican Republic for two years now. Your donation has made it possible for Meita to begin learning the Spanish language so she can begin to feel more assimilated here in the Dominican Republican. Meita has dreams of studying medicine, but cannot do so until she learns the language spoken in her new home. Thanks to your donation, Meita is now learning Spanish at the church Iglesia Biblica de la Trinidad.
The curriculum consists of basic social skills such as greetings and expressions, how to interact in different social situations, how to ask questions, how to conjugate verbs, and basic tools on how to create a life in a Spanish speaking country. Meita understands that literacy is fundamental in human development, and feel so blessed to have this opportunity! Your $45 dollar donation makes this possible Charlie!
Meita says thank you, and we thank you for your generosity!
