Joel Learns How To Brush His Teeth!

Thanks to your kind donation Joel was the grateful recipient of a cavity prevention program! Joel’s mother is an associate of Esperanza, which means she has taken out a small loan in order to start her own business. She used her loan money to buy clothing in bulk, in order to save on transportation costs, and sells her merchandise in her small community in Samaná.

Because of her relationship with Esperanza, Joel is now entitled to receive vital health services that the organization provides, and the cavity prevention program is just an example of one of these services. Not only did Joel receive a fluoride treatment and cleaning, but also the knowledge on how to properly take care of his teeth in order to keep them healthy in the future.
