Carmen Says Thank You!

Thanks to your donation Carmen is now smiling brighter! Carmen is 46 years old, and is from the community of Los Cacao located in Samaná, here in the Dominican Republic. Your gift of $15 made it possible for Carmen to receive the vital service of a cavity prevention program. Not only did Carmen receive a fluoride treatment, but also the knowledge on why it is important to take care of her teeth, information that she can now pass down to her two daughters. Carmen took out a micro loan with Esperanza, and is now in the process of paying back her 7^th loan. She invested her loan money into selling everything from clothing, shoes, and even silver.
