Segunda just took out her first loan through Esperanza and states that she couldn’t be happier! She used her first loan to invest in a small “colmado”, a corner store where she sells rice, oil, ice, chicken, etc. Segunda makes her home in a community of la Romana called Villa Hermosa, and has lived in this community all her life.
Segunda is a 48 year old mother of 5 and this is the first time in her life she has been able to have a Pap exam through Esperanza. Segunda states that now with access to capital, she has been able to buy more merchandise and therefore sell more at her colmado.
For this she is very grateful to Esperanza, and grateful to you Margo for caring about her personal health. Thank you so much Margo for investing in Segunda’s health!
