Fernando feels confident
posted March 27, 2013

The Dominican Republic’s public investment in education is 2.3% of their gross domestic product, which ranks 122nd out of 132 countries. This leaves little opportunities for students like Fernando. Fernando lives in San Pedro de Macorix and has been given the best kind of gift he could imagine: a chance at a brighter future through the work of Esperanza International.
Fernando, like many of his classmates, dreams of playing baseball professionally, but knows that school comes first. Thanks to your priceless donations, Fernando can grow into a smart, well rounded individual.
Your donation has made an incredible impact in the life of Fernando, and for this he says Gracias!
